Public documentation v0.1.0
Architecture
The source-to-generated repository model behind Software Factory public profiles.
Repositories
Software Factory v0.1.0 uses one public source monorepo plus six generated profile repositories for PM, builder, orchestrator, reviewer, publisher, and docs roles.
Source of truth
The source monorepo contains role profile sources, shared skills, shared snippets, generation scripts, validation tests, and public docs. Generated profile repositories are release artifacts intended for hermes profile install.
Generated profile shape
Each generated profile repository is current-Hermes-compatible, with distribution.yaml at repository root and role instructions, skills, license, changelog, README content, and public provenance as applicable.
Validation layers
Publication uses monorepo structural validation, generated-output public-safety scanning, source-to-generated manifest checks, reproducibility and public/private tests, and independent reviewer verification of public GitHub repositories, tags, licenses, and README install contracts.
v0.1.0 architecture notes
The initial publication made the source repository and six generated profile repositories public. Future work should keep canonical local profiles aligned with these source-controlled distributions and continue tightening the source-to-generated path for every role.
